2008 West Babylon Indoor Tournament
The Amityville Metro Stars took 1st place at the 2008 West Babylon Indoor Tournament - U10/U11 Boys division. Individual honors also went to Matthew Garcia - Best Defender and Chris Soriano - tournament MVP. Participating for the Metro Stars: Douglas Allen, Jack Bilello (goal keeper), Kevin Carmen, Jarred Dull, Matthew Garcia, Austin Quinn, Timmy Seeberger, Tommy Seeberger and Chris Soriano.
This was a really fun, fast and exciting tournament. The boys played six, twelve minute games and the Metro Stars went unbeaten, 6-0. The boys really hustled and hustled, pressuring their opponent each match while scoring some very creative goals.
Thank you parents, players and tournament official. What an excellent day.
