October 2007:
- October 28 saw the gargantuan U-15 squad from South Huntington rough up the Gunners 3-1. Max Morin valiantly defending the heavy onslaught of powerful shots from the big-legged foes, with constant help on defense from Chris Lamarr and Bobby Kretz and Nick Anding charging the offense. Things were better the week before as the Gunners spanked Sachem 7-0, with Chris Young, Anthony Vasquez, Mike Mehary, Kyle Stratford and Dylan Rosser all contributing goals to the cause.
- The Riptide (U14) played a tough game losing to Division 6E powerhouse Commack Panthers. Tight defense was lead by Riley Hatt and Katerina Duarte. Nicolette Dammacco-Charles played a robust game in mid field and Jenny Pescitelli's mighty play led the offense.
- The Amityville Surf (U12) suffered a disappointing loss against the Smithtown Xplosion in Week 5 play. After giving up a goal in the first 10 minutes of play, the Surf kept the pressure on the rest of the game but wound up on the short end of a 1-0 game. Kelly Roache, Jackie Oill, and Brittany Steele all played hard. Sofie Duarte put in a strong game on defense and Madison Fulford played tough in the middle.
- The U-10 Baymen have gotten off to a rough start in their first season in a very competitive LIJSL Nassau division. The Baymen have continued to work hard which has paid off in their last two games. Strong defense helped goalies Jack Bilello and Michael Trant hold a team that scored 10 last time they met, to only 3 goals. Forwards Niklas Coles, Austin Quinn and John Grahn combined on several rushes resulting in shots that hit the cross bar or went just wide.
September 2007:
- The Amityville Tropical Storm (U16) suffered a bummer of a loss to the Floral Park Tomahawks 1- 0. The girls played amazing soccer but could not get the ball in the net. The Tomahawks scored on a freak goal that went over the goalies' head. If not for the phenomenal goaltending by Jackie Ubert, the score could have been 5 or 6 - 0. Unfortunately, the goals were not regulation size, otherwise Allison Schmidt and Kaitlin Pescitelli would have both had multiple goals. The T Storm is now 1-1 after winning their first game 3-0, with goals by Sammy Rosser, Allison Schmidt and Danielle Jaycox.
- Nick Anding scored early in his debut for the Gunners (U15), giving them a lead against the Sayville Baymen that they never relinquished. Mike Mehary followed with a tenacious goal and the play of the day was Bobby Kretz's corner kick which Carlos Umana headed in to cap off a 3-1 victory.
- The Amityville Riptide (U14) girls started the season with two tough games. The first was a 5-0 loss to a tough East Islip team. Shannon McCann kept the game close in the first half with great goaltending. Week 2 saw a much-improved Riptide play a hard fought game against the Bayport Stingrays. Another good goaltending performance, this time by Rachel Allstadt, kept the game tied at the half. Strong play by Sam DeVecchis and Christina Marotta kept the pressure on as the entire Riptide team played well.
- The Amityville Tsunamis (U13) have started the 2007 season with 2 hard fought 0-0 ties. Stellar goaltending by Jade Gaynor and a solid defense anchored by Grace Anne Blackler and Gabby Vigorito have helped avenged losses from last year. Lyndsey Merrick was strong up front and created many opportunities to put the ball in the net.
- The fall season has gotten off to a great start for the Amityville Surf (U12) girls team. On Saturday September 8th they defeated the Babylon Power 2-1. Paige O'Neill started things off with a goal in the first half and Morgan Jaycox got the winner late into the second half. In week two, they continued their winning ways with a strong performance and a 3-0 win over Sachem. Faith Daley led the way with two goals, and a strong defense led by Sarah Bennett and Lauryn Pfeifer kept the ball in the Sachem zone for most of the game.
- The U11 Metro Stars scored a 4-0 shutout against West Babylon Sharks. The boys put pressure on the ball throughout the match, protecting the shut out. Belmores, Issac Desir (2 goals) and Andrew Gyenis scored while Andrew and Timmy Seeberger shared the shut out in goal.
- Nick Garcia started off the scoring for the U6 Stingrays in their match-up versus the Red Bulls. Angelina Rogers played terrific defense! Nina Babington scored late in the game and Kyle Barsic had two assists.
